My Final Magazine Advert

To promote my products even further i have created a fan ticket page on facebook making it easy for fans to purchase tickets and find out news about Abbie Rowe and the video. I have also created the artist a twitter account so that people can follow her success. Using web 2.0 will help communicate with fans as internet is one of the most popular ways to search for music i have used social networking sites as my target audience are 16-19 the age that people are most active on these sites.

Developing DigiPak

Here i have developed my Digi-pak and used Photoshop to make them look 'real life' this is how they would appear if they were on the market. I am happy with the results of my product and think they work well and give the professional look.

Further Development Of Digi-Pak

Here is a development of my Digi-Pak i like the design so far however i have one scene to re-shoot tomorrow and imay take other stills from them to show a range of different options i have considered.

Decisions

 

Here i have experimented with adding colour to my poster. After exploring the coloursi have decided i want to use the original colour to keep the simplicty to stick to the country genre instead of adding too much pop. I did think about using black and white but i think the colour brought a warmer feel into the image.

Development Of Digi-pak

Here is the development of my Digi-Pak. I have designed my own C.D sticking to the same housestyle of the Pak. Underneath the C.D are pictures taken from the video faded out to give the look as though it is in the case. I am happy with the recent developments and just need to take stills out of the video to fill the other two images in i know which shots i want to use the images just need developing on photoshop to enhance the best quality.

Overall i am happy with these results of my audience feedback. The results have really helped me at this stage of my final weeks in editing. I will use these information to help me improve the video the first step i am going to take is adding texture to my video and improving the first chrous were a fellow student has commented on the black screen is coming up. Overall i am happy with the results of my feedback.

Promoting Ancillary Texts

 

I have experimented with putting my Ancillary texts onto bus shelters, billboards, magazines and even putting the album cover onto iTunes to see how the texts would be broadcasted professionally. Looking at the texts overall I think that they present really well and ‘fit the part’. I chose to use these methods of advertising due to the modern way of advertising (iTunes) and the way that digitalisation has become the mass now people buy tracks over iTunes were they are on the move; now stores such as HMV and Zavvi suffer from the ‘death of the C.D’. These methods of advertising also come back to the results from the poll I found that many where on a low social class e.g (D) due to them being students therefore they are more likely to travel by bus and see the advertisement and want to purchase the new modern ‘pop’ track and buy the tickets. Due to their age group they are more likely to purchase tracks and C.D’s over iTunes as the tracks are usually cheaper.
